It is through Christian fellowship that we receive the warmth and belonging that feeds our souls. Just as you enjoy visiting with relatives in your own home, you will find many ways to enjoy visiting with members of your church family. There's plenty of time to meet and greet at coffee time before Sunday School, Wednesday night dinner, Retired Men's Coffee hour, the Older Adult "P.E.P." Group... and the list goes on and on. For those not able to get out and be involved in the many ministries at First Church, the connection is made through regular visits by staff and church members and partaking of Communion delivered by lay members. We are a Stephen Ministry Congregation, providing lay Christian care-giving to persons going through difficult life situations.
Does it sound like a lot to jump into? Well, we don't expect you to take the plunge alone. Your fellowship friends are ready to help you make the connection and welcome you into your new church family.
