Reaching out and welcoming all people as they are, as Jesus and his disciples did, is the first step in carrying out the mission of First United Methodist Church. The staff and congregation are committed to reaching out into the community, brining persons to Christ, and joyfully receiving into the family of faith all who seek to know God and grow in their faith. We believe it is important for guests and new members to find a place to feel at home in the church. As a result, First Church offers many opportunities for guests and new members to become connected to the church and give of their time, talents, gifts, and service.
